eLearning courses are available to all students at Arnprior District High School. Our school board is a member of the Ontario eLearning Consortium.  This membership allows our students to access courses that are delivered by our own board, as well as by other school boards in Ontario. These courses are filled on a first-come-first-served basis.

eLearning courses:

  • Are suited to students who are self-motivated independent learners with good work habits;

  • Require the same time commitment as traditional day-school classes;

  • May include course work outside of the traditional school day/environment;

  • Include timelines for completing tasks, assignments, and other assessments within the course;

  • Require access to a computer or Chromebook or other device;

  • Follow the same semester start and end dates as traditional face-to-face classes (for those eLearning courses that are completed during the school year);

  • Are available in the summer during the month of July; and

  • Meet the same curriculum requirements as in-person classes as set out by the Ontario Ministry of Education.

For a complete list of available eLearning courses, or for more information about eLearning, please contact your Guidance Counsellor in Student Services.
